Snake's Kick Returns

His game has changed due to his injuries. Dishing off to the wingers seems to be working for us though.

Kick returns have never been his strength. Very sensible approach linking with two of the best kick returners in the game.

It seems painfully obvious Snake doesn't want to return the ball into the chase line unless he absolutely has to. Every kick he is looking for an offload to the wingers. Both Wolf and Horhay are doing their level best to get back with him to either field the kick first or position themselves for a pass to take the heat for him.

I read he was in doubt with a hammy tonight, but maybe there is something else he is trying to protect as he doesn't look keen on solid front on contact at the moment.

His defence is still fully committed though, a couple of try savers tonight as usual. So I'm not sure whether I'm reading too much into it.
Yeah he has been battling hamstring problems according to some news articles. But like other posters have said passing off to the wingers probably has not hurt the kick returns. He is playing and that is the main thing.
