Unplug it and it should reset.
The last week my LG lost the picture but the sound was still OK. Then the doorbell rang a few times for no reason.

Does it play your DVD? , have you checked/unplugged your TV cable at the wall and TV sockets?Didn't do a thing , just lost another 10 min of my life I can't afford to lose at my age..
