Hey Ryan, there seems to be some text not showing, good data very reflective of our form.

OK ok.

Our defence is woeful! We have no resilience when there is adversity and we are carrying too many passengers.

We need to really deal with defensive drills. If you look at Penrith last night, fantastic line speed, covering inside and outside plays and with kicks they shield their wingers. They are so well drilled and have confidence. Umm this was Manly 2008-14! We would frustrate opponents then strike.

I think what I detest the most is the tries that come immediately after turn overs, too many again last night and already up to at least 20 for this season. We must respect the ball and complete our sets and the failure to do the 101 basics is murdering us!

Wow... and that magpies team was memorably bad...

Our previous win to that Bulldogs one was against the Cowboys. Another team that finished below us on the table

In fact of our 7 wins last year, 4 of those were against teams that finished below us on table - 2 v bulldogs, 1 v cowboys, 1 v broncos.

Horrible reading no matter how you look at it.

I can't imagine many of us actually purchasing tickets to see Manly play again this season.
I'm committed to watching them at Mudgee but unless they show some heart I won't be attending any further matches.

The last time that Manly strung two wins in a row were Rounds 10 & 11 last year.

Round 10 - Saturday 18th July

Sea Eagles: 22

Eels: 18

Venue: Lottoland, Sydney

Round 11 - Friday 24th July

Cowboys: 12

Sea Eagles: 24

Venue: Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville

2020 Season: L, W, W, L, W, W, L, L, L, W, W, L, L, L, L, L, L, W, L, L.

2021 Trial: L.

2021 Season so far: L, L, L, L.

Talking to my son last night .. and I mentioned to him I cannot remember Manly being on the bottom of the ladder for 4 weeks straight ... ever ... even in the Northern Eagle days .... is that a record ??

In 1947, 48, and 53 we came second last ... so those years are possible ...

There was a 5 week stretch in 2015 but the team fought back so well that year and it’s now forgotten

As a proud Manly supporter those mediocre stats and record loses breaks my heart
And we have started this season as badly as last season

Peter Peters was 100% right being concerned about the way our coach was doing things

Des has to start changing things The way he select his team , the way he motivates his team the way he has his team playing .

We need to see some change because his repetitiveness is not working

Records are meant to be broken.

And I have a sinking feeling we’ll be breaking records for a while longer!!
