My 6 year old came home at 5 and decided that we were all going. Made it into the ground for kick off🙂
We started solid but the forward rotation took all the wind out of our sails.
Its been sunny but cold all day but there was a big but short downpour around 4pm. So the ground is probably more slippery than it looks. Which I think is why there we are leaving a LOT of space on the wings. Especially Vaega's
The crowd isn't great and theres probably 1/3 of the manly fans there usually is. Storm fans are yelling for penalties at literally anything and it feels like the ref is listening to it

He wasn’t alone. I don’t think his missed tackle on oats was Anywhere near as bad as bully and co who flailed there arms at him. At least ola was chasing. Agree he should’ve done better cleaning that kick up. Least he was there trying though.

Remember, it was Ola who also dropped the ball cold when we last had momentum and attacking. I know he’s loved on here, but gotta call a spade a spade. Some garbage play from him

I thought schu played well in the first 20 but was gassed in the second it appears fitness is still an issue.

The guy is grossly over-rated on the back of some pretty high quality passing and deception. Too bad we can’t give him Garrick’s heart. He is Tin Man

Woods has performed beyond what his value is. He's having a crack, not much more you can ask of him.

Reuben Garrick may well be my favourite Manly player these days. Gives it everything he's got no matter where you play him. Some great cover defence in that first half and furious effort: he wants to be there and he wants to win.

As for the rest of the team, good to see them put in 20 minutes of solid footy before the mistakes started to creep in. That's 18 more minutes of effort than they put in last week already!

But it's still disappointing to watch them start strongly against a very lackadaisical Storm team and then basically invite them back into the game.
