Suaia Matagi

I'll keep it simple for you Rex, yes I'm biased. I'm a conservative right winger and proud if it, which I believe I have said several times before. I've also said news ltd is biased. I've also said SMH is a biased left wing newspaper which pretends to be independent and impartial. Let me know if anything else is unclear.
OK we have a biased man, a conservative right-winger, incessantly whinging that someone who disagrees with his extremist views must (by definition) be biased. No basis, no substantiation, no facts, no attempt at logic. Just emotive opinion stated as fact which he demands we swallow simply because he says it.

That's clear Donald.

The French Revolutionary era was where the terms Left-wing politics and Right-wing politics first originated.
The reason for the terms to become used at all was the seating of the ancien régime of France at that time. The aristocrats sat on the right, and the commoners sat on the left. So these terms evolved to mean so that right-wing politics refer to politics for aristocratic and royal interests, while left-wing politics refer to republicanism, socialism, and civil liberties..

So we have the French to blame for the direction this thread has taken.

Thanks France.

De rien!

Do you always emotionally overreact when someone expresses a different view to you Rex?

I always knew I had royal blood in me. Toffs to the right, peasants to the left.
Lol. If you understood emotions Terry, you'd see no emotional disturbance could possibly happen within me when you react just how I invite you to react.

And I love for your eyes to see me as the commoner and you as the elite. You got everythin' to lose, and I ain't got nothin'.

This whole thread become tiresome ages ago . You guys are boring . Back on topic talk to a couple of islander boys in narrabeen today matagi done deal. Stick that in your paper

The Lurker is reporting that Manly have not been able to close the deal on Matagi and he is likely to sign with Parramatta.
I like how the Titans had been in negotiations with contracted Proctor for months (thought that was illegal), then miraculously, Bird is shipped off and a deal is done. Parra need a leg up after their anus* horribilis and now they are in for Matagi and probably offering more cash.

Do we get punished in recruitment for either not being owned by the NRL or not rorting the cap?

* spelling deliberate

I'm holding out hope that we are looking at quality and aren't prepared to pay overs. If as has been widely speculated, we sign Whare or DWZ then our backline looks set. Hopefully Bozo has a plan B regarding missing out on Matagi. If Matai and Snake both retire that's a lot of cash we'll have to throw about. Every year there are late signings that pop up from left field and maybe Bozo has his sights set on someone that none of us know about. In any case I feel we still have some significant additions to next years squad to come. You only have to look at the Titans last year, after the disappointment of missing out on Cherry they added Peats, Hurrell and Hayne. Rather see us be patient than make rushed signings.
