Maybe, maybe, maybe ..... who the fxck knows why he signed with the Eels? I would guess it is just simply more $$$$. We / you know nothing about the negotiations with this kid. You're just using this to promote your anti Seibold / Mestrov position. I don't know if they fxcked it up but maybe our management was thinking about our cap and needs money for other signings? The only certainty here is that we're all sausage roll eating numpties and apart from probably one person on here (I acknowledge @AndWeDon'tCare ) none of us have a clue and will never know what actually transpired.

Personally, I would have liked Da Silva to sign at Manly because I think he is going to be better than Simpkin and obviously Croker, but…I reckon 4 years at 650K is pretty mental. That’s a lot of coin for potential.

I think we all would have liked him to join , but under those conditions I’d applaud our management.

I’d rather save our money for a genuine game winning prop & another good edge forward.

I hate the bloke, so I'd much prefer he stuck with your lot.🙂 But I also heard the Cowboys (who will need a hooker next year) are another potential destination.
