The best thing you will watch today, part 2

Love it!

So many magic moments.

What I really liked over the years...was just how secure he made me feel as a fan, knowing he was there as fullback. Brilliant times.

I shall now watch the vid again.

we knew him when he had hair.
All those hair-raising tries have taken their toll, follically-speaking.

Snake was just a freak.
I've never seen anything like him.
What a team we were blessed with!
Thank you Snake.
And Kiwi for posting.

My favorite player of all time. Amazing talent and so exciting to watch. I felt when he was in his prime we were always a chance of winning any match we played. Legend

I can not wait for tomorrow - 2 minutes of crisp dummy half service, numerous tackles and a GF try

I've never seen a player as naturally gifted as Snake. Some of the things he could do on a footy field just defied belief. He was a huge part of this club's success for many years. He gave us so much joy and was pretty much torn apart in return. I'm still hurt by the treatment he copped from the media and the NRL so I can only imagine how he must feel.

Dive.... 2 handed put down..... freeze........slide. How many times did we see that ?

Breaks my heart to think this guy could have nudged 200 career tries had he had better luck with injury. Just a freakshow and the best all round fullback of his era.

Those highlights are unreal!! They wow me every time.

That 1 handed catch and scoop to DCE while diving, against the Broncos was magnificent. DCE also had the nerve to catch the pass with 1 hand and make a breathtaking try look all too easy.

I would have added one more highlight in and I'm pretty sure Brett was the guy who made it happen. Against the Warriors in the 2008 finals series, he caught a long ball with his back turned to the wing on the left side of the field and fired an accurate no look pass between his legs. It found its mark and I think it may have been Matai who strolled in all too easily because of it

I have never forgotten that try against the Tigpies, just one of the many tricks the man had. I dont think their was anything he couldnt do. A try machine, multiple try assists, safe under a high ball and the best desperation defence you will ever see.

He had an amazing career, despite the NRL administration's dislike for him.

3:38

Later on in that same game we had the Snake hurdle after a perfect Matai pass

I was there and watching it again, has me excited for Saturday's Manly demolition of the pretenders
