Without being caught in the act of it I don't see how they can sack him. It's all just innuendo and he said stuff. Easy for a lawyer to argue against any of it.

Dont worry about the word "sack" - when clubs dont want players they are gone.

If he hasnt failed a drug test and hasnt been charged every team in NRL will be keen to grab him.

Apart from the Peruvian Powder he seems like a good clubman. If we could get him (hopefully at a discount) on top of Fog, Wilson & Hetherington we could put the cheque book away I reckon

Do we really want to sign a guy like that?, talented as he might be, id rather invest in younger backrowers, we really dont need the baggage this guy carries.

Yep, if all that we've heard about Uncle Nick is correct, it would be very hard to look him in the eye and say that you only play golf with the rare # 8 Titleist and this guy on the Sunny Coast that Cheese knows just happens to sell and deliver them!

Being on a golf trip doesn’t automatically imply any drug-taking or wrong-doing on the part of any of the other players present.

I think people should be careful about making unsubstantiated innuendos (at least without saying ‘allegedly’)

True, but l'd say on all of the sporting trips l've been on that if not all, l'd say most of the attendees were aware of other's shenanigans.
Doesn't mean they condone it or wanted any part of it.

But when there's only eight on the trip and one of them is the club captain you'd think it would be nigh on impossible to keep even the most naive unaware, allegedly.
