Coper Cronk announces that he would be leaving the Storm for a more lucrative deal at the end of the year at the Rooster
2017
Bellamy turns the Cronk departing Moment into a Motivational winning Movement and the storm win a Premiership
2025
DCE announces that he would be leaning Manly
2025
At a Time a Great Mentor is needed to Mend the way
Siebold is not capable
Cronk had announced from the outset he'd be relocating to Sydney for personal reasons (his partner was there I think)
DCE announced he wanted to play on but not at Manly, because... Oh yeah, he didn't say why, just let the question hang there for everyone to think about
You are comparing apples to watermelons

While seibold is no bellamy
Dce is no cronk

Every player leaves for person reasons / ambitions
The Difference is ...
A Great Mentor leaves their players with a Positive All for one and one for all Attitude
To be united in winning for their club their Jersey their fans and for one another
Thats the difference of a Great Mentor
We do not seem to have one at Manly

No the difference is one player wanted to be closer to their partner, the other player didn't have any reason to be elsewhere ... other than 'I just don't want to stay here with you lot!'
I'd love you to show me a coach that has successfully handled that scenario, it might have happened but none spring to mind.
and Daly is captain and most senior player!
It's a big thing for a squad of players to ignore and at the moment Manly players seem to have been affected by it.

No true ...
I will tell you why
If DCE said he did not want to play with you lot
No coach would put the integrity of a winning teams spirit ahead for a Departing player

We can come up with all the excuses But
At the end of the day when things do not go our way
We need a Great Mentor to lead us the way
Seibold is not that Great Mentor to move Manly ahead
But if you think that he is , You are entitled to your opinion feathered friend

Elite Half backs win Premiership
They both win SOO and represent their country
Both cronk and dce have achieved this
Ahh good day to you

Look dude, i see your point
But while we both love manly each of us have a differing idea on how we would assemble a squad capable of winning. Dce has mad many team versions and the data is weak

Building a squad around DCE has proven …….well
Lets be honest , we should have been building it around Tom and cut DCE if possible and had some decent forwards

What part of DCE game helps Tom . His ball movement is predictable , lacks initial line contact and he is clearly relies on Tom to do the work and to back it up,

Much has been said on DCE form on the weekend but take notice of how ineffective Tom was and where that left the cherished ones game. He is back up man

He is very talented, paid **** tonnes, questionably resilient but in Footy terms , as a half back……..not elite. Pretty good , fancy maybe

Be careful too is my advice when you use money as a primary indicator of the man. Not being an ass mate but think it through.

Because... you say so

Because... you say so

So are you. But no-one wants to hear the same thing repeated 300 times
Your Good self and others keep repeating the same excuses for defending Seibold and also by doing this you also keep endorsing our soft club custard culture
On and off the field our club seems to crumble under any kind of adversity

The Great Days under the GReat Des at his Great Winning Peak of Flying under the raider are well and trully over

Thank you for your post feathered friend

The Building Winning Squad perspective

DCE set a try and scored one him self when He was part of Manlys premiership winning team that was Built under Des at his premiership Winning Peak

The Maroons Built a SOO 5 winning umpire with DCE at the helm

Coaches like Barrett and Seibold and Des Mark 2 are sand castle builders
