There is a poster I believe his name is Jimmie(?), he seems to have good "intel" in and around the Roosters.

I'd be interested to read if he's heard anything on his side of the fence about a meeting mid-morning re DCE and the Roosters.

Not disputing that he has probably spoken with Politis and that Politis has indicated that they are interested with a firm offer. But I would suggest Politis has not made the offer unconditionally. Like they did with Cronk, they are waiting to see him through his last year at the former club. Both Cronk and DCE were or are near the end of their career and far more liable to serious long term injury. Last thing they would want to do is outlay big money on a broken body. Already DCE is showing the wear and tear. Get through the season unscathed and he'll sign late in the season or Sept/Oct as was done with Cronk. Promise is there if he gets through and interestingly Cronk also declared early in his last season at Melbourne that that would be his last season there, though his excuse was family commitments and a TV contract. History repeats itself. SC did the same with Fulton

DCE knew exactly where he was going when he appeared on channel 9…shook hands with the roosters late last year but no contract signed then ,as the roosters needed to clear the decks first. Not sure why your message is bloody massive, but if this is true, this is probably the dumbest possible reason for us losing that game.

We lost Jake, with him being out of it for the rest of the game, we lost Tolu completely, we had some absolutely rubbish middle defence, Turbo wasn't doing anything, and DCE was our only real spark.

DCE is the only reason we didn't have 50 put on us. He actually arrested the momentum at points. He managed us well, which he has done only twice this year.

IF, IF, this is the case, and Seibold came guns blazing against DCE, I would quit out of spite too...

Then again, there's no reason to disrespect the fans in the way he did. If he wanted to just piss off DCE and Mestrov, there are ways to do that without collateral.
