This is a Manly Excuses thread and I haven’t seen the ref mentioned once??

I'm guessing most are realists and understand that the refs don't have any influence over results 😉

2018 - Aspilla Ballate didn't like my insta post and I don't tackle well when I am not liked.

2018 - DCE didn't buy me a drink when we played the Titans and I, and my manager, were offended
2018 - Its not the year of the cat.
2018 - @teaminserteveryfootballerwithaspouse is too important to try to win in a losing game.
2018 - Bruh, I'm not off contract until next year.
2018 - The Roosters said we cheated and laughed a lot at us!
2018 - Jackson Hastings picked on me.​

Tigers 2017 lost their big 3 and their best players at the time.
Their spine was severed with Tedesco and Moses gone . They also lost their captain and leader Woods .
All critics did not rate their 2018 chances as contenders with good reason but the Tigers looked for solutions and the rest is history .
Cleary has a roster mainly of no names playing above their weight , discipline footy and big games and he has also brought the best out of the aging Marshall .
When we focus on excuses then failure is more acceptable .
When we focus on benchmarks our mentality and expectations changes .

I don't understand how we can be salary cap cheats and yet have so many plodders on the roster.

It’s a good lesson. I wonder if the Wests Tigers’ fan forum went ballistic over losing woods, Moses, tedesco etc?

We all know what would happen on here if the equivalent occurred.

Tigers have shown that there is life after stars go.
