I thin what they wore was originally registered as their heritage strip supposedly honouring the 2002(?) GF win, even though it looks nothing like that jersey. They have worn it both of their home games this year. Maybe tehy just realised how ugly that away strip is a little too late. They obviously picked though cause the home team picks what strip they want to wear and the opposition must work around them
