Just look at our draw coming up in the next few rounds

Souths H, Cowboys A, Dogs H, Roosters A, Dragons H, Storm H and Raiders A.

We don't win at least 2 of them our season is gone already before it has started.

3 out of 4 so far @davohan123 and in our current form we should be in up to our eyeballs in the next 3 games 😉

This thread is apt. I recall more than few posters poo-pooing the idea of considering signing the saints centre Aitken last year. Too slow, not good enough they said.

The next month will well and truely show where we are at..
With storm,raiders, broncos and bunnies all lining up, we could very easily get smashed every game bar rabbits, or we can show up like we did against roosters and have a go... But by the bye round, i recon we will know if we top 8 , or bottom.. Im still leaning towards 10-14

Well I'm happy for you all to tell me " I told you so", I thought we'd be hovering around 10th-12th.

But I still think we are just one more injury away from that, mind you if we stay fit!!

I'd like to see a pick up in home game form, then I'm happy to take an I told you so. The team seems to be gelling and playing for each other. I don't think I made any prediction before the season but I was thinking outside the top 8, let's say 10th. We are definitely playing better than that at this stage though.

Im an optimistic sort of dude when it comes to my eagles and nothing changes now . We will make the 8 and can finish top 4 to 6 .

It's strange, usually teams struggle away, we are the exact opposite,counting Brisbane as a " home game" I don't think we've lost one away game.

Well there you have it boys and girls, likely 6th finish with a slight chance of 5th

24 individuals got it very wrong but at the same time I'm sure they are pleased

Just goes to show you dont judge a team after one game
