Tevaga’s tribute to late friend fuels his Mt Smart comeback
Jazz Tevaga on the passing of his former teammate and playing against the Warriors.
Exactly. I'm very open to Jazz at hooker, but I didn't see any extraordinary night and day difference to Croker just yet. A better sample size will certainly help judgement.I should add that one game against ordinary opposition that conceded 42 points should not count for too much when making a meaningful comparison.
100%Better than Jake at lock. Simpkin better at hooker than Jazz. Leave it this way and Jake to prop
Agree his leg speed and post contact mtrs made a massive difference in getting a roll on. I seriously hope they keep him in that role for and don’t revert back to 80 mins of jakeI'd play him at 14, coming off the bench to play 40 mins at lock, and 10 mins at hooker to spell Simpkin. Jake will clearly be more effective with less minutes now.
The #9 is Simpkin's to lose now. Jazz is a lock, and our best one.
And a skinny winger on the bench.Like, it is so damb obvious, I'm actually gobsmacked the coaching staff cant/won't revert to Jazz at 13, Jake to prop, Simpkin to hooker.
Maybe after this game they will.Like, it is so damb obvious, I'm actually gobsmacked the coaching staff cant/won't revert to Jazz at 13, Jake to prop, Simpkin to hooker.
It was interesting to hear dce talking to shaun Johnson after the game.
Shaun asked how dce is liking plying with Jazz.
Dce laughed and said he's never taken so many balls passed down around his ankles. Shaun laughed and agreed saying his own hammys still haven't recovered.
They went on to say he's a good player, etc.
I know it's a bit simplistic but sometimes I wonder how you can get all the way to the nrl...as a hooker...and yet you are known for low low passes.
But if it doesn't bother them, who am I to say to the tv...pass the ball to the chest ya caterpillar!?
I saw that and thought it wasn't a great thing to say about a teammate. I think it says as much about DCE's character as jazz's passing. It was interesting to hear dce talking to shaun Johnson after the game.

It also says that Jazz has actually played minimal games at 9 and yet the coach still uses him thereI saw that and thought it wasn't a great thing to say about a teammate. I think it says as much about DCE's character as jazz's passing.
