All I care about right now is what Joe Kelly does. He says he's got plenty of coin to throw around which I think was always his end game. I don't personally think he wanted a team with a heap of cash tied up in the halves so he low balled them out the door. Penn green lit it and from there it was inevitable. So he'll throw money at the pack and build a team like Souths. BUT - it's all talk until we get some signings. We've lost two great players but it's forwards that win games these days - halves can only operate on a platform that they establish. So let's spend and spend wisely and start a new decade of dominance with guys that are committed to the jersey and have a mongrel streak that puts the fear of God in the opposition...

Geez if this is how they show "respect" for their club and team mates I'd hate to be around them when they don't. Got a lot to learn these young fellas. read earlier today that Foran's missus stated Karma on her web page. Well good on her. Enjoy your picnics over Parramatta river. I hope Foran moves out there. He's from Blacktown on the Beach anyway. Don't wanting breathing Matt Ballin's air here on the beaches.

Anyway his deal with the Tits allows him to opt out for 2018 so you'd be going through this **** after the 2016 season. **** that.

I find it hard to believe the club didn't know what it was doing; love him or hate him, Kelly has worked in a number of successful environments.

I think your second point is closer to the mark, and had Daly and Kieran been happy, greed may have taken a back seat in negotiations to an extent, but with both unhappy for various reasons, and other clubs offering huge dollars, the carrot was too big to pass up.
