The Rumour that we hear everywhere

Lube is just a passion and a side hustle for me.

I get NO pleaseure in watching Mansly be this shxt and just being tabloid gossip.

I don't think Seibold is a great coach .... at his very best might just be OK (at best)I I do think he has made lots of mistakes. But, my view on Seibold is that he's only part of the problem and sacking him will give us fans a sugar hit and might make us feel good short term but we'll end back in the same 2 to 3 year sack the coach cycle again. All Penn will get is another cheapie coach and in two years with whatever Silvertails name you are using then you'll start a thread with "sack Spoon XXXXXXX".

IN saying all of that, I am starting to lean towards the sack Seibold camp BUT that is only because I am frustrated and angry with the shxt that is being dished up each week and I just want some hope for the future which at the moment I don't see much. Do I really think sacking Seibold will fix us? I doubt it. I think our issues run deeper than just sacking an average / shxt coach. I wish fixing Manly was that easy.
It sure sucks watching this Manly descent. In relation to your whole in two years I will return thing you have started sprouting, let me say this.

// Dear future me. Please do forgive me.
// I can't even begin to express how sorry I am.
// You have become a crazed lunatic Silvertails villain.
// At least that is the case for a handful of digibetics on here.
// This is crap code but anything more savvy will stop this working.

What a bunch of crapola. So according to your youthful wisdom if Tom and Jake both play and take 2 million out of the cap our season is over? Let's say they are worth a combined 1.2 million on current form. That means we are paying $800 000 too much. If we go by your assessment any side who loses a player for the season valued at around that amount is finished for the year.

Not to mention a new coach might reduce Jakes minutes and play him at prop. Turbo is still a very good player and writing him off now is both premature and naive.
I think it’s pretty obvious to most that next year is going to be a developmental season regardless of who the coach is so i’ll write it off early in terms of premiership chances.

Jake + Tom are legends but of course them taking $2million of cap space is going to take its toll again. Jake is playing 70-80 minutes a game & has averaged 49 run metres per game this year. Turbo has shown with his defensive efforts that he is close to done.

I wouldn’t extend either of them until at least half way through next season, not like anyone is going to come knocking…

Turbo would definitely have some suiters. Jake may have to take up a contract with the Maitland Pumpkin Pickers.

If next year is a developmental season. Which I agree it should be. Then we also need to ensure that we have the right coaching team in place to get the process off to the best start possible.nwhats the point in wasting another year on a coach who won't be here long-term?

If we keep Seibs it’ll be two development seasons; next year and the year after when the new coach arrives. Let’s try and keep it to one!

Jake and Tom are both done, yes absolutely they are club legends but....... just a waste of spots going into 2026.

No doubt the season has been a season from hell for some many reasons well covered on this forum.

Im looking at some optimism going into 2026.

We will have an organiser and experienced half back who knows how to manage a game.

Jake and Tom need a rest urgently. Both are busted and im concerned about Jake's health and i think that Tommy needs a full pre-season to get his body right.

Id be giving some of the kids ago in the last few games, Navale and Walsh deserve a chance.

It is imperative that we sort out the recruitment of players, we need to invest in younger players who show athletism and agility rather than size.

If the club sticks with Seibold, he's got to own this team, i think its fair to say that right now that is not there.

The team needs leadership urgently, never again can we allow any player to derail a season like this one.

There needs to be a review and we need candicy rather than denial.

I look forward to the AGM for the football club, as questions need to be answered about how things unravelled so badly? Where are we heading?

No BS and give the sponsors members and fans something to look forward to.

Right now the club is in .misery, all our grades are poor, don't seem to be enjoying footy.

In tough times you bounce back, ive seen the lows and highs, the club have done it before and now it must happen again!!

I agree re resting both. I agree re Jake, and especially his health. I tend to think that Turbo’s issues are more in the head. Anyway, we need to let then both rest and see how they turn up through the off-season and early next season before making any definitive decisions around them, IMO.
