Saying we throw in the towel was a poor choice of words, but credit for admitting it.
Is this a mentally weak team? Well maybe but I would say the operative word is 'team'.
I agree they haven't become a cohesive team yet.
They are getting there, it's painfully slow, but don't you think the new players, new spine, not to mention weekly changes to the new spine, have slowed down this process?
It was never going to happen overnight but I still think it will happen, merely my opinion of course.

Parramatta have a new spine with the addition of Foran and Gordon and suffered changes to that spine with the Foran injuries and the hooker being changed and they seem to be going ok. I get it you will say bad example because they were cheating, but the fact is $750k of that team in Watmough never took to the field. The difference between the two teams is their players want to play for their coach, despite his technical inabilities, whereas our players all seem to have Alzheimer's and each week have forgotten they have even met their team mates.
