Being named on the fringe of the NRL squad every week, he is hardly getting to play at all. This is a real trap in the contemporary game. How are kids like this supposed to develop?

I agree he should be given a chance, but he often plays NSW Cup after dropping out of the 22-man squad.

I expect we'll see Kaeo getting his NRL debut in the next month or two. I haven't been following his progress in lower grades but did notice he was picked at 5/8 recently. No doubt he's being prepared for the possibility of some utility role if needed and let's face it we don't have many other backline reserves.

The club site states his debut was 7 May - he was named as 18th man but didn't take the field. He's such a good mover so his real NRL debut will be exciting for fans, something I'm looking forward to.

Risk? What risk? he won't get picked if he can't play, but I'd like to think he's getting close. Don’t forget Covid has screwed up young players development with all the lower tier comps interrupted in the last year or two.

2 months on and it seems we were right HK_Eagle. Zero risk team and coming 10th looks right. Shall we back the Sharks by 20?
