OK, so after expertly reading the body language of Mason and some of the other boys during interviews, I have been able to deduce what will transpire this Friday night; which is:
  1. Manly 26 Parra 14
  2. MOM: Brett Stewart
  3. 1st Try: Gutherson
  4. Last Try: Hiku
  5. Most impressive start from the recruits: Burgess (but all of the recruits play well)
  6. Performance of DCE and Keiren: strong, not brilliant, but certainly outplay Parra halves
  7. Post match comment from Tooves: "Yeah I thought it was a good strong hit-out for us, very happy with our defence. We still have a few things to work on but overall very happy with that tonight." [some tosspot reporter] "Geoff, do you think this win will convince the halves to stay?" [Geoff] "Seriously I've had just about enough of you wankers...piss off before I shove that mike where the sun don't shine!" (ok maybe that's what I'd like to hear)

And speaking of body language, I reckon there will be so much talk about player interaction and body language in this game tomorrow night it will be like watching running commentary on the wall paper during a porn movie.

Oh god, can you imagine how those Chan 9 Waynekerrs are going to play this out!!

It will have an affect on the team. It either pulls them together or it divides them further. I suspect we might struggle. Playing a whinger park means hostile crowd nothing from the refs and it is all about the team being tough under adversity. That to me is the question how they cope? I will especially be watching the body language of the players.

I still don't know how we lost that game to the worms in round 24 last year. Our second half effort was woeful and I think it may have had more to do with attitude or lack of from some team members. It still aggravates me to think that we could have easily won that game.

Anyway I think we have the talent to win tomorrow night even with players out injured, but do we have the attitude?

I also hope we have worked hard on defending opposition teams trying to score off bombs/kicks targeted near our try line.

We were up 12 nil and butchered a couple of tries. Kissed the minor premiership bye bye that night

Can't wait for the unbiased commentary. I wonder who Rabs will be going for?
What was I thinking? Of course he won't give a rats. He'll be too excited about the tennis or desperate housewives or whatever **** Ch9 are currently peddling.

After watching the form of Gift tonight I shudder to think what a fit Watmough will do to us tomorrow. This has the makings of a monumental asswhooping for us tomorrow.

Can't blame the media, even our supporters are writing off the team

Gifty is the better footballer, Watmough the better athlete. Tooves will get the boys up for this one and the halves only need to play to 70% of their ability for us to win

Forget what the commentators were saying his form was average. Barely ran the ball, kicked out on the full, took a poor option early on with the pass to Burgess when there was an overlap out wide and made 20 odd tackles which is par for an 80 minute back rower.

Didn't rate him at all last night. And if the refs review their tape he should have been blown for 3-4 penalties. They let him get away with crowding the play the ball and he just kept doing it.

My thoughts are that no matter what happens in the game there will be mass over reading and exaggeration on here post match

Stuff like how Brett used to smile on average 9.42 times per game, but only 5 smiles during the game so that indicates unhappiness

Or the height of contact of a high 5 between DCE and other players used to be at 1.93cm but has dropped to 1.66cm showing a complete lack of enthusiasm from him
