For 366 days a year (yes folks, 2016 is a leap year) we can all visit this site and find out the latest league news (or at least, the latest gossip, rumour and innuendo), we can have a 'discussion' (or argument) with other fans, we can acquire useful information (or learn about totally random facts and phenomena), and generally be amused diverted and informed in a Manly Sea Eagle rugby league environment. Wow!

And, just once a year, Silvertails asks for something in return.
No, not that! And relax, it's not for the deeds to your house! Not the hand of your sons or daughters in marriage. Did we even ask to take your original 1977 Torana A9X for a spin around the block? No, of course not (though it's always nice to offer)!
No, we merely make one very simple request.
Once each year, around this time, we ask you all to take a moment.
Close your eyes (optional). And …think!
Think about what Silvertails means to you, what it means to have this amazing, unique and fully organic resource available at the touch of a button or keypad. 24/7, for all of those 366 days…
That's it! That's all we ask.
If you take that time and decide it doesn't mean much, fair enough. This site doesn't rest on its laurels, we (well, mostly our beloved workaholic family man computer guru bloke Dan, affectionately known around here as @Dan) are always looking to improve the experience for site users.
But…if you do as we ask, and you take those few moments, and you conclude that Silvertails ADDS something good to your life… then you might consider signing up for the famous annual Jan Davis Memorial Tipping Competition!!
The reason, quite simply, is that this is how the site generates funds needed to keep it in the shape it's in.
Some of you might not be any good at tipping. No matter, the entry fee will still be put to good use!
