**Tipping Comp 2025 Winners!**

She may sell sea shells by the sea shore but in her spare time our very own @Shells Eagles has reigned supreme and has taken out this years tipping competition!

Absolutely well done, what a great effort as the leader board was really packed in the last week so I am sure there were nerves aplenty.

For those of you who haven't figured out how to get to that part of the site as yet - here's the scoreboard.

We locked in our top 8 tips way back when, and probably most of us had Manly in, I sure did. Bugger
But finals will start soon, the 8 is all but settled. For those who even care, who wins it?
Chooks at 20-1 not the worst bet.
Raiders currently 2nd faves behind Storm, I think they might pinch it. They are in the box seat, would be good to see Kaeo win and also for Manly to have a new premiership winning halfback next year.

Well done all who participated, it really takes a lot of financial pressure off @Dan to keep up to date with (I'm guessing) servers, program updates, add-ons...um...jellybeans (?)... and other computer forum stuff.

It’s quite unique , both the Manly & Leeds colours plus the official tag with the event details sowed on.

I have one hanging on my scarf / hat stand of Manly memorabilia but found the other one when doing some cleaning up earlier in the year.

Sorry @nightster as soon as I mentioned that you were doing good than it all went down hill from there so it’s not your fault that you lost, it’s mine.

I did what I wanted to do and beat my dad… in a tipping comp.. I haven’t bashed him.. yet.

Thanks to @Dan for doing all of this, dad wanted me to join this website at first just to be able to help keep it running and contribute because obviously this site and all the people mean alot to him and he knows people put time, effort and money into this, at first when he was trying to convince me, he said I don’t have to say anything and I could just tell him what tips I wanted to do and he would do it because I was like i don’t know how it all works but turns out I’ve got it figured out (for the most part) and I really enjoy it.

I am also working on convincing my mum to join here so she could do tipping on here and will be another person to help contribute to the website. If you think about dad and I with footy, she is the opposite, she knows absolutely nothing except for maybe random things that I’ve said to her over and over but she’s joined her first family friends tipping comp this year and is loving it even though she is coming dead last 😂 I’ve already come up with her name as MrsWombat, so the whole wombat family will be in the tipping comp

Or are you doing the John Hoppa Tonga jersey presentation to Lehi speech! You should put that up, if it isn’t already. Only John could get away with saying (amongst some other parenting in the 80’s specials) that the way he shows love is to bash your kids.
