Foz has a hamstring injury that reportedly requires a minumum 2 weeks recovery yet Des names him. It's time to cut this rediculous ducks and drakes bullsh*t that Des seems to enjoy. Naming players who have no hope of playing is just stupidity that fools no one. It's a tired practice that just makes a mockery of the naming of teams and makes Manly continually come across as a tired old joke.

I agree. It doesn't fool the opposing coaches who would be in the know. It does though upset Manly's fans, so he's doing us no favours. It is also deceptive regarding betting arrangements. I don't bet, except $20 on the Melbourne Cup but I know many do and the game is saturated with the practice. I'm surprised objections are not greater from higher up
