Tom Wright: Where do you put him?

I agree we need to be rid of the dead wood. Who do you see in this group? I would say Lewis Brown, Jono Wright and imo Shaun Lane. I also don't think we need both Cameron Cullen and Jackson Hastings. I rate them, but we don't need both of them when you have the young Cronulla u20s player, Cade Cust and Tom Wright in the wider squad.

You have come up with some good suggestions for our spring clean sale .

Hence why you dont judge a book by its cover, or a player after two games. Plenty of talent in that 20's side. Correct not all will play NRL but would be surprised if a couple dont debut for us next year (Fainu, Funa) and a few more over the next couple of seasons with Manly or somewhere else.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out then. I do recall one player making an impact in the second half. I thought he was a backrower and both those names sounded familiar. Looking at their profiles, however, neither of them play in the forwards. Like I said, based on those two games I just don't see it happening.

Jesse Martin?

He was the former captain who copped a two week suspension going into the finals. The coach took away the captaincy and put him on the bench. He is a second rower. Not overly big from Canberra who runs very hard and straight. He did make an impact when he came on in the final two matches.
But there were several other standouts. To say he was the only one is disingenuous.
