It was only three years ago that we were minor premiers.

Couldn't care less about results in the lower grades. Lets not forget they put up a pretty decent effort against the All Star Warriors team in round 1. All that matters is the players improve and if a couple of them turn into first graders, thats mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned.

A few from last year that should have stepped up to the 20's this year all went to slime as better money was on offer. Who can blame them though.

Yes and no.

Love to see this side punch above there weight but frankly that's not going to happen.

The club has to open the cheque book for the 20s.
We are seeing the benefits of a good lower grade side now - Foran, DCE, Lussick
Instead of 3-4 year cycles aim for 2 year cycles
