That is a very good question why they did not select him . We are playing and risking higher quality players than him on the weekend . He may have a niggling injury ?

I look at it the other way. I'd say Croker is a lock and Des is resting him along with Chez and Foran to keep our spine free of injury.

I agree. Apart from injured players, I’d suggest those left out are in the squad. Unfortunately Crocker is in, but so is Saab and hopefully Olakau’atu. It also (hopefully) means that Garrick isn’t a lock for a wing spot and he is fighting it out with Tuipulotu. Hopefully Tui kills it.

Really looking for to seeing Weekes, Koula and Schuster play.

I’ve been to trials before. Sometimes people play who aren’t listed.

I would bet Saab and Haumole have niggles. Des isn’t the type of coach not to play two young guys in a trial.

Sea Eagles team to play Sharks in NRL trial

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Des Hasler has named his team to play Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in an NRL trial at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday, March 1.

To some trials bring the excitement to see new players , young players show their wares

To others they are a chance for players to get injured ahead of the real games. I’m personally not a fan of the trials never have been and the coverage is always crap anyway unless you are Souths v Saints.
