I just had a look at our jersey flegg team for round 1 last year and Jonah Palota Kopa was named as the fullback and Zane Harris was the halfback. So I’m guessing they will both probably play jersey flegg again this year as its U21s now.
Really hoping Birt gets the last spot in our top 30 squad!

Haumole must have a niggling injury and Saab , inconceivable that they would not be included if fit D C E and Foran would be expected to start in round one as halves so good opportunity for Weekes and Josh to show their wares . Must be good reason to rest Walker , Jake and Croker also .

Hasler must have a problem with the guy, it won't be long before he's asking for a release, I just don't understand this at all, the guy's a gun
The two things I took from that squad is ,
1 Harper , obviously the front runner for the fill in.
9 Cust , obviously TNI is behind Cade as preferred 9
They’ll all get a run , it’ll be **** quality vision ( done by Facebook ) and we won’t get much of an idea about much at all BUT it’s at least some footy.

Resting TNI and Walkz n Fights. Nothing to be learnt about 9 from this trial. Just love that DES has left plenty out.
The squad is out , no Haumole must have already secured his spot hopefully

I look at it the other way. I'd say Croker is a lock and Des is resting him along with Chez and Foran to keep our spine free of injury.

No croker? Its settled then he is our 9 come starting round. No dce or foz means des will give nothing for opposition coaches to study before round 1. Keen to see the Schu unleashed
I do not see it as settled . I think this trial is an opportunity for players to make Des think outside the square

That is a very good question why they did not select him . We are playing and risking higher quality players than him on the weekend . He may have a niggling injury ? Who knows
