Your opening line demonstrates the futility of trying to have a meaningful discussion with you. Of course you only think in absolute terms like yes/no. You don’t seem to have any capacity for balance or nuance. You’re either a “denier” or you’re not. Seems rather “closed minded” of you.I thought it was a yes/no question and wouldn’t take so long to answer, but thanks for taking the time.
From your reply it seems you are climate ‘agnostic’. Not convinced, but accept the possibility humans are creating climate disaster.
As stated before, if you are seriously advocating Australia immediately stop exporting coal, then I applaud you. But you haven’t actually said that, have you.
You’ve referred to China several times … I wonder if you have any feelings about Australia producing twice the carbon emissions per capita than China?
Of course I am not seriously advocating that Australia stops exporting coal. I thought it was obvious that I was using that to demonstrate the hypocrisy of the climate alarmist position, that yes, we are indeed heading to climate Armageddon, but hey, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep earning some trade dollars by exporting coal to the world’s largest carbon emitter.
As to your last statement, it is not clear whether you are being serious or not. Yes, I am aware China has a population in the billions, whereas Australia’s is in the millions. But I didn’t realise the atmosphere takes into account emissions on a per capita basis. Seems a rather ridiculous statement, but maybe I have read it incorrectly.
Anyway, I have now spent more time answering another one of your accusatory posts, and this will be the last. I prefer a more open minded discussion, rather than one sided questioning and deflection. Have a good day. Go Manly.
