What are the consequences? How about the billions of dollars worth of military equipment he gave the taliban due to his disgraceful pull out of Afghanistan?
Another consequence that’s springs to mind is the tens of thousands that died from Murder, Drug overdose & trafficking from his disgraceful border. This is probably the biggest reason Trump won - but sure there were no consequences…
Just 2 examples that came to me straight away, I’m sure if you search on google you could find many other failures

On the Afghanistan withdrawal, you may be surprised to find that it was a Trump decision (brief summary of the history; first 2 links):
President Donald Trump ordered a rapid withdrawal of all US troops from Afghanistan and Somalia in the wake of his 2020 election loss.
As part of the United States–Taliban deal, the Trump administration agreed to an initial reduction of US forces from 13,000 to 8,600 troops by July 2020, followed by a complete withdrawal by 1 May 2021, if the Taliban kept its commitments.
Unfortunate they leave the Taliban in control, but leaving Afghanistan was something I view as a net positive. Given Trump's recent comments, however, it appears it may have just been a stunt to try get Biden's presidency off to a rocky start. Regardless the whole Afghanistan ordeal was a mess worth ending, they'd caused enough disorder. Despite having no healthcare system the reality is that US don't give two ****s about wasted $$ as long as the military industrial complex is involved. Money is in war; tech gets wasted, then people get paid to remake them... Stimulates the economy unfortunately.
On drugs, the unspoken issue is US consumer demand, mental health and their third-world healthcare system. Still, minimising drug transmission over the border is all well and good as a concept. But what exactly is the true scale of the problem (Bondi/Trump/Fox rhetoric aside)? Border security against what exactly? Tunnels? Cars with Mexicans? Trucks? Mexicans on foot? What is the data on this? In a very brief look I have already come across a study that starts to poke holes in what is being portrayed. From 2019-2024 US citizens accounted for 81.2% of fentanyl-smuggling arrests at border entry points. It is a topic I will eventually read more into.
According to an analysis of nearly 700 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) press releases from January 2021 to March 2024, just 10 smuggling incidents occurred between ports of entry when migrants were stopped on foot or fentanyl was found abandoned. In contrast, 519 entered the U.S. via ports of entry.
There is little evidence to suggest migrants are bringing fentanyl across the border on foot—or that migration is linked to fentanyl at all. Migration has risen and fallen with no correlation between drug seizures.
Transnational criminal organizations tend to use U.S. citizens for fentanyl smuggling because they attract the least amount of attention at the border, often disguising themselves as ordinary travelers.
Data obtained through the Freedom of Information Act found that most people arrested for smuggling fentanyl at ports of entry are U.S. citizens, accounting for 81.2% of all seizures along the southwest border from fiscal years 2019 to June 2024.The majority of fentanyl is brought in through passenger vehicles. Again, criminal networks prefer to use passenger vehicles driven by U.S. citizens, traveling through ports of entry, because it draws the least amount of scrutiny at the border.
I know Trump, Bondi and Fox also build their image around stopping "illegal aliens from raping and murdering" citizens. But in a country with such a huge gun and homicide problem, it would be shocking if illegal immigrants accounted for any great proportion. I will look at statistics on this too one day, but given this administrations track record; odds are they again deceiving people like yourself from the more substantial factors.
