Trump

I know it is CNN so it will get passed over by many on here but this is a great read for when I say about how Trumps consistent mis truths erode the faith many of us have in him when it comes to anything he says

I mean the 18/19 trillion one is one of my favourites. Do not like CNN?

How about the whitehouse who reports 8.8 trillion (a push as well)

And the left thought she was going to be a Trump Barbie Doll, easy to push over. One thing about Leavitt, you always know when she's over the target zone, she never misses anybody.
Nah,they knew she would be easy to bait and it is like shooting really slow fish in a barrel.
Maybe she never misses anyone because she has no care about who gets hit, yep, should be proud ....

@Highflier @Ohgeez

Nothing to add then? I take it you’re both spreading bullsh1t backed by zero evidence then?

there you go 47MV hope the below satisfies your craving for independent evidence even though it doesn't say what you want it to say

The Hilltop (April 14, 2025):"The Arlington Cemetery official website released a follow-up statement saying, 'Arlington National Cemetery is updating its website and Education Program to comply with presidential and DOD directives. NBC4 Washington (March 19, 2025):Arlington National Cemetery spokesperson stated: "We are actively working to update our educational content in compliance with Executive Orders issued by the President and Department of Defense Instruction. Snopes Fact-Check (March 24, 2025):Kerry L. PolitiFact (March 25, 2025):"The March 19 statement also said, 'We want to clarify that no service members have been permanently removed from the 'Notable Graves' section of our website. … All profiles of individuals from the previously listed categories 'African American History,' 'Hispanic American History' and 'Women's History' can be found in other categories.'"

I have found the counter argument to

I mean her job is to answer questions

This is a bit of fun really

I dont necessarily agree with what she said however we should add the context of what she said as well ,rather than just the sensationalist highlight.
Leavitt's statement was made in the context of criticizing NYC candidate Mamdani's refusal to condemn Hamas during his Fox interview, but she expanded it into a sweeping characterization of the entire Democratic Party's base. The comments drew immediate and widespread condemnation from Democrats and some journalists as inflammatory, divisive, and potentially dangerous rhetoric from an official White House spokesperson. Critics argued it was inappropriate for a government official to characterize roughly half the American electorate in such terms.

Mamdani is a divisive socialist wierdo himself, having in the past called for Police defunding, refusal to condemn the term globalise the intifada ,all sorts of socialist interventions into various areas like Grocery shops, rental freezes, creating various LGBTQI authorities and departments ,legal representation for every illegal immigrant etc etc you get the picture .

Anyways Leavitt is a ferocious and capable prosecutor for her cause and as someone said she doesn't miss ,although maybe went a little hard on this one

Think you've got it the wrong way Adz, more like Leavetts shooting fish in a barrel.
Nah mate, she is just a clown.
She doesn't actually answer a lot of tricky questions, she just regurgitates the Tiny fingered,Cheeto faced,Ferret wearing,****gibbon's current BS 😂 and refuses to consider the actual question, she is easy to bait and fluster.

All done due to the public backlash, but no mention of restoring the people who were removed as a formal process, just that they “exist” if you’re willing to search multiple categories to find them.

Just admit it was an exercise in attempting to whitewash government records.

So you were wrong & just trying to sell bullsh1t.

  • The claim that Trump & a “Secretary of War” (likely meaning the Secretary of Defense) have re-categorized all historic figures from “African American, Hispanic, Female etc” into categories like “Prominent Military Figures” or “Significant Science and Technology achievements” is not clearly supported by public documentation.
    • I found no credible source saying that the DoD (or government) has officially replaced the categories “African American” or “Hispanic” etc with a new category structure of “Prominent Military Figures” or “Significant Science & Technology achievements.”
    • What is documented is that content containing explicit reference to identity categories (race, ethnicity, gender) was removed or flagged. Wikipedia+2Newsweek+2
    • But removing identity-based language is not the same as formally re-classifying or organizing every record under new “achievement-based” categories.
  • The statement “they haven’t just been obliterated from the records, just been categorized more along the lines of their achievements” suggests a systematic and benign re-organization, where the same individuals are still present but under new labels.
    • The record shows some removal of identity-based references, and some restoration of content after backlash, but it also shows actual deletions or archiving of material tied to minority groups. Newsweek+1
    • It’s unclear whether all individuals formerly tagged by demographic identity are preserved under “achievement” categories. Some may be omitted or harder to find.

Where did we get this idea that people thought she was a pushover ? A pushover to whom? I’m not entirely sure what a pushover looks like in her role

For Trump 2.0, pretty clear she had to be
i) a loyal sycophant, and
ii) willing to dismiss and antagonise reporters.

Unsurprisingly, it turns out this is her grift. For someone in her role to be strong they’d have to routinely answer tough questions in a thorough, professional manner. She seldom meets that criteria. Turning White House press conferences into a schoolyard is not emblematic of strength.

If I really wanted I could essentially view any of her press conferences and pull several examples of Levett being impatient, vague, deceptive or demeaning.

Fox News gave birth to the Levett character in the US political scene (basically a real-world social media troll). Good on her for being a sellout to the administration without a sliver of nuance, humility or credibility. Hegseth also adopts the angsty teen persona; only difference is he actually was a Fox host.

DHS agent (essentially ice) got done drunk driving w/ his kids in the car.

Watched the first few mins:

“Any ID on you today?”

“… no”
If irony could kill
Then proceeded to whine “are we really going to do this” for the remaining minutes I watched
