Trump

Thanks for actually taking the time to clarify what you meant. It does help me gain some perspective even though in this particular instance the extra information didn't necessarily bring me closer to your position. A

ll good if you don't want to answer, but I do have two followup questions for now.

1. Are you genuinely interested/curious as to why I used those descriptors with respect to Levett?

No worries if the interest isn't there -- just trying to gauge whether there's a will to delve deeper into this Levett topic or not.
Now for this next part I want you to be totally honest in your assessment of me (nothing is off limits - I won't judge or try convince you against your answer):

2. How do you feel about the nature of my prodding questions, or even just me in general?
For example: Do you often feel I only ask questions in bad faith? Do you feel they are pedantic or worthwhile? Some examples of my 'prodding questions': 'could you clarify ', 'what did you mean by __', 'list particular examples of what __ refers to', etc.

I know you were referring to left-aligned press when raising 'gotcha questions'. It just made me wonder how exactly the pro-Trump/pro-MAGA folk perceive me on here and perhaps why.

Don't have to of course; also the floor is open for anyone to jump in
Well, must admit H27 it's good seeing some self reflection from one of our opponents of the left. I don't usually read all of your posts in it's entirety, I'll speed read every paragraph, I usually get the point you are making fairly quickly tho. Brookie usually gets a reaction from you, maybe you and him have a lot in common except politicaly of course. Not to much to add really, you obviously need more words than most to get your points across. No one really answers questions in bad faith it all comes down to what you believe in.

A pushover, as to get her ratled and lose her train of thought. And all credit to her, this has never happened. Of course, Trump is going to have a PS who isn't going to be meek and mild, it's a pool of Liberal sharks in the briefing room, any sign of weakness and you'll be torn apart. You've put a lot of labels on her, most don't make sense, deceptive isn't one of them. She answers every loaded question to the begrudging Liberal press eagerly waiting there turn to try and trip her up, but never do. Leavitts a natural, she's prepared and briefed and more than ready to bat away those tiresome gotcha questions with a scortching reply and a steely stare.

All parties concerned and including Trump and his negotiating team can still feel well pleased and vindicated with this present Gaza standoff but unfortunately still on a knife edge with the precarious nature of a very complicated situation in play there
Wouldn 't trust Netanyahu one bit in terms of putting any longer term stability ahead of his own preservation and keeping out of prison and the temptation to let things flare up there again to distract some attention if his or any unfavorable legal situation comes to the fore again for him
Just as much the volatile situation still in Gaza with rival melitta groups but with Hamas still dominating there
Anyway , Trump has surprised recently keeping Netanyahu more in line insisting that he would simply not tolerate any Isael A D F efforts to gain full control of Nth Gaza to permanently prevent a 2 state solution , so that can only be a plus
Really going to need much more international participation and especially from Europe to step up to try and keep some longer term order
Looks like Trumpie has accepted that the Ukraine situation will only be resolved with Russia finally gaining a pretty decent buffer against any further Nato expansion their way .
Probably could even be in the process of doing some deals with Putin on any potentially valuable rare earth areas which will be soon in the Russian orbit on current indication in Ukraine "s eastern areas
Had a few more mischievous intentions [ Putin ] initially in early 2022 in trying to establish a new and very favorable Russian inclined regime in Kiev but no Russian , ex Soviet or American president could accept or tolerate very offensive weapons and nukes right on their doorstep
U S or N O - U S president again would ever allow it on their Canadian or Mexico borders , just as Kenedy could not with Cuba and at the same time America had Nukes based in Turkey aimed at the old U S S R which they had to secretly withdraw at the time to get a crucial resolution
A good 30 or more % of Ukraine has or always was commonly accepted again , very or quite pro Russian , so really is not going to be an issue long term for the changed boundaries to come there in due course
Why NATO had to go from 19 to 32 odd members after the fall of the Soviet Union and push or try to , right to the Russian eastern border just defies logic and now has pretty much caused the worst conflict in Europe since W W 2
