Agree, the continued destruction by Israel has been way over the top. And unfortunately they'll have the younger generation coming through with revenge in there hearts. And Israel settler's have virtually taken what little land the Palestinians had and they've been allowed to get away with it. Can only hope for some sort of peace, but this seems well beyond the horizon to contemplate.

If you read my posts, you would note that on more than one occasion, I have stated clearly that I am certainly not a supporter of his. I am not defending him. Shock, horror, he is not a perfect man? He is just as much a hypocrite as you and I. Has he done things that would be considered forms of 'corruption? Like countless property developers and politicians around the globe, absolutely. It says more about the failed system that a man like this could even hold such a position in society.
My posts were simply a reaction to people calling him a 'fascist' - he's not - and the hysterical notion that he is somehow more inhumane/corrupt/evil/etc than any single previous president - he's not. You can judge his policies, the way he conducts himself etc, but it's a little ridiculous to then turn a blind eye to all the others (particularly the warmongers - of which, Trump is certainly not)

I think shutting out independent media reporting from the Pentagon, refusing to answer questions to journalists he considers report for "Fake News" outlets, ICE indiscriminately (or should that be "discriminately"?) grabbing people off the street based on their skin colour & rolling out the National Guard in Democratic state capitals in response to protests outside ICE detention centres in those cities are pretty fascist actions.

Isz he has them all where he wants them .
He has re established the USA as the preeminent economic and military force in the world, something Im personally comfortable with given the alternatives.
He has managed to get the EUs to increase dramatically thier defence spending ,something the Obama's and Bidens couldn't/wouldn't do ,he has brokered various solutions to world hot spots ,he has stopped illegal migration and and has started deporting illegal migrants, cut energy prices, increased capital inflow to the US and exited the Paris agreement farce all with within what 10 months .
Regardless of what side you sit on, and although there is much still to be done, its not a bad record in that time ,love him or loath him.
He is a master at manipulation and intimidation look at what he did with Starmer at that media show in in the middle east and also the episode when the US base was bombed in 2019 I think.
Couple that with the absolute humbling of Rudd this morning and even though he said nice things about Australia and old Albo (the Steven Bradbury of Australian politics in my opinion and possibly the luckiest PM in Australia's history ) ,he was also made to look weak in that he laughed at Rudds humiliation in front of Trump.( I think Albo was very happy to just laugh along, and let Rudd get run over by the bus lest his own previous Trump musings be brought up by Rudd or any of the journalists there )
Trump knows he has the the hot hand everywhere he goes and he plays it to the USA's advantage at every opportunity ,which is what you would expect especially from a beast like Trump.
It also makes for great viewing from both sides of the fence
