The stats suggest otherwise Frank. Isn’t it 70% win percentage with him in the team? Or something like that. I absolutely believe he’s that important to the team. Remember the Easts game last year. We were choc full of guys we have in the team currently plus Elliot n co.
We had a 70% win percentage with him when we had a good side, now that we're so $hit it may only be a 40% win percentage with him

Everyone keeps referring to Turbo as a one man difference to the team.
He is not he is a 3 man difference.
He plays
Our best Center plays center instead of fullback
One of our weak players on the center get benched.

So yes turbo makes a huge difference to the team stats or not but not just because of turbo but the other poitions effected.

That game happened before covid break though. May as well been playing marbles against them the game is so different. Tighter slower games you can hide blokes like Parker, Croker and co to some extent- and it was a wet windy day if I remember.

Nowhere to hide anymore. Our record under the new rules since the Covid break is close to the worst in our history I believe.

Defensively it is nothing shy of Unbelieveable. We are slow and play slow.

Tom adding twenty or thirty points each week? Hard to see for me but we will definitely be better off against the other three also rans in the comp and he could well be the difference re the spoon fight.

The bottom four now are pretty well a lock all year, just not sure what order.

Great young fella Tom...

Came over to take a photo with me and my boy pre-game at WIN...

It was my boys first game and he loves Tommy Turbo so Tom absolutely made his night (especially considering the result) and now he has a fantastic photo on his wall to remind him of his first Manly game forever...

As you say @Manly Tragic, Tom may have made a silly error but that's it... no drugs, no violence and no police...
Did he sign it Tissue Tommy? (Sorry Frank couldn’t help myself. Glad he made your boys first game.)

Which highlights the shambolic idiocratic way this curiously old-fashioned club we follow runs its affairs.

Where is the security man escorting the lads (like c.2004-11) to whisper in Turbo’s ear, “Not a good idea, stupid!”
The security man we had in those days was the same one in charge of the Victorian hotel quarantine. True story. Watch the journos link us now

Turbo fitness test
When: Saturday night
Time: 9.30pm
Where: The corso manly
Event: turbo v Harry 100m sprint from the Steyne Hotel to Darley road
Everyone is welcome
Entry : Free
Looks great BUT can we change Turbo to any willing Silvertail member (the more, the merrier), increase the distance to 400 metres (Steyne Hotel to the Wharf Bar), and then throw Harry off the Manly Pier. Note that paramedics will be stationed at the 100 m, 200 m and 400 m marks any medical incidents eg torn hamstrings, heart attacks etc @

I don’t disagree. However the big thing I believe he brings is confidence to the others around him. It’s not just what he offers as an individual. The parkers, Garrick’s, sulis snd co grow another leg when he plays.
Would be good if he could grow another leg....

I doubt he will play again this year!
Season is gone and start planning for 2022.
Time for Manly to medically retire Turbo and move on.
I hope you are wrong but my gut feel is thinking this will be the ultimate endgame.

Otherwise we’ll just continue paying a million a year for a player who barely plays a game.

But I sincerely ( for the kid as well ) hope you are wrong.

At 24 i doubt pulling hamstrings in the shower is ever a concern unless you're over enthusiastic in your practice sessions.
Still, of all the things you can do or try in a shower, on gods earth how do you do a hammy? I tried at least 25 things (including those yoga moves) in the shower with my wife and could even get a strain in the hamstring?
