It’s just so hard to be positive about turbo anymore…

I’ve been defending him and his injuries from my mates any time we talk footy since he broke into first grade and instantly got injured…

At this point any time I read articles about how he’s good to go I just think “great.. for how long? 1 round? 2? 10? When’s the inevitable season ending injury gonna happen this season…”

It’s honestly not even fun watching him play anymore, every time he gets his hands on the ball you hold your breath and hope it’s not for the last time this season…

Turbo should come out at the presser and announce he has thought deep and hard about it, and he has decided to withdraw from Origin this year. 😂😂😂

Bah it really sucks, was starting to feel like his body was holding up for him.

Real shame.

Knives will be out for him on here.

I have been worried about him for a few weeks, i reckon I could see he wasnt 100%, maybe i am kidding myself.

I feared the Eels game, mainly because he got hurt against them 2 years ago.

Then last week he looked awkward and kind of slow, not for the first time.

I have always felt he could take us to a Grand Final, like Hayne did for the Eels in 2009. Those hopes are now fading.

If Tommy played origin we would have missed him for 4 games anyway. Only grip is the big salary for 12 games average a year. If he would sign on for $500k you could cop the half a season game time.

Feel for Tommy getting injured again but his effort, attitude and performance this year has been piss poor and that is reflected in the general reaction towards his injury tonight. Much more excited about the prospect of seeing Koula there now
In all seriousness I think he has been playing within himself to preserve himself.*

It worked, right up into Round 10.

*Stewart managed it that way, somewhat more successfully, from 2011 onwards.
