Are we serious? 800k… you bet I’m not happy. This is a guy who CANNOT GET ON THE FIELD with any consistency. Talent aside, we cannot carry that sort of instability. By all means, gamble on the guy but only at the right price. I’m personally pi$$ed at that figure.

How much do we realistically want to spend on a centre (taking into account our roster imbalance for a decade)?

I'm serious.

Get 15 plus games a season at 800k and I think you are getting value.

He's that good.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY (Manly supporter or otherwise) is ever disputing his talent. It is like getting all excited and wide-eyed at the casino. The game is rigged against you, but dumbass humans can’t help themselves. We have waited a decade for Turbo to get over his injuries and come good. Perhaps another decade?

Oh, and yes… I agree he is value at that price for 15+ games per season. Will you get it? Long shot and handing money over to the bookies

Maybe, played 20 last year though and halfway there this year.

Injuries not ideal by a long shot but an 800k deal doesnt hamstring us.

Excuse the pun
The laugh was for the pun.

And that’s the gambler’s carrot. He did this once, or showed that once… nope, no way. I’m not a gambler. I hate gambling. Turbo is a gamble from my perspective. Period. Fullstop.

Oh I'm a gambler....and not a very good one. Lets roll the dice

Lehi out is now considered a big loss by me. Turbo 100% fit no questions however since he came back from his hamstring injury and subsequent treatment, he has lost speed and mobility. Based on Turbo's form this year, how many FB's from other teams would you have him ahead of?

Is this who he is now? Timid and just an ordinary player? Or is he just not fit?

Extending him for 2027 at big coin looks a massive risk at this stage.

Based on what he's done this year and how he has played you wouldn't offer him an extension right now

I know I have said differently on this thread, even just a few days ago. But is it actually time to move on unless you get him on the cheap?

Love Turbo for all he has done, but he offers nothing. Did he make a single tackle break tonight? He's done, finished.
Tommy Talau on less than a quarter of his salary is playing much better than Turbo.

It pains me, there aren't too many more players ive enjoyed watching that Tom when at his best. But i'd be stunned if he even gets to 75% of his best ever again.

A tough call needs to be made with he and Jake. Let them go get one last decent pay packet in England. then bring them back on the coaching staff in 2029. Even if we got them both for $1mill combined, that could be better spent on a 2 decent front rowers to start with.

At best he should be our #14 can cover any position if needed but should be aiming to play him for 10/15 mins a half then rest him. Watching him is sad

I was really disappointed in him tonight. Injuries and fitnesss are one thing, he didn’t do anything well tonight. It’s not like the brain was willing and the body wasn’t, he didn’t try anything. And didn’t even really look like he was trying at all
