In the spirit of linking every player thats off contract to our club in our desperate search for success....
What do people think of Tyrone Roberts as a possible solution to our 5/8 dilemma?
Plays direct, good tackler and has an effective kicking game (and kicks goals)... Maybe not a superstar (which translates as affordable) but has played rep footy (for country) and played in the first Gold Coast team to make the finals (which is a pretty big achievement)...
He is only 27 and has cut short his time at Warrington with no disclosed destination so I am assuming he'd be open to offers...
Would allow DW to move back to inside centre where hes at his best and TH could be used in a similar role to Benji at the broncos... thoughts? ?

Yeah this guy is a good underrated player. I would definitely make a play for him but he needs to tick the boxes of being an old over the hill player who will bring trouble otherwise Baz will not buy him.

We have a budding five eighth who our coach has given little game time to show his talent. Our money needs to be invested in the forwards!!

I agree TW needs game time and is potentially our 5/8 but I'm not sure he's ready for that position yet...

He's not going to be ready if he gets no game time. Even playing him on the wing would be a start. Barrett seems to have a mind set against players who are creative. Safe and slow is his policy and that's why Manly are near the bottom of the comp.
