Yeah its no coincidence we have opened up like the Sydney Heads since his injury.
Certainly more defensive issues elsewhere, but if Api is in the middle plugging holes then it makes a massive difference.
Fainu has done an admirable job thrown in at the deep end, but a 2019 season playing off the bench will do the kid wonders.

I thought it was round 23. Even though we'd have to wonder if it was worthwhile with 2 games to go, we could certainly do with him.
His work rate is first class.

Definitely missed api.
But a good off season under the belt for manase will do him the same good it did for Kell.

Have really hurt us this year, and has allowed another of our issues ( **** roster ) to hurt us as well.

Yeah, Fainu looks drained...
absolutely ... I said exactly that in another thread yesterday ... Fainu did play 1/2 before he went to 9 maybe a trial of him at 7 and DCE at 6 ... oh thats right we signed a Titans part timer to play 6 .... sure hope his signing turns out to be a masterstroke

No doubt we are not as strong in the middle without our number 1 hooker.
Fainu doesn't have 80 minute fitness but Api also struggles with the fatigue at the end of games.
looking forward to next year with both on the field we should see more of Api's running and less of his poor passing ans Fainu's defense will be a lot better in his 30-40 minutes.

Hooker has become almost the most important player on the field. Smith, cook, friend. Luke. Take them out and their respective teams would struggle.
