Was getting into a TA at work tonight and he blurts out "fark up you old carnt" I spent a few seconds looking around at who he was talking too - then realised it was me 😂💀

I remember playing touch footy 'one season' and me and some guy who had a big grey beard (santa?) were out on the wing (him centre, me rhs wing) and the opposition guy said: "Pass the ball this way ffs - there's two old guys!!!"

I thought I'm only in my 30's ffs!!!! lol. (They didn't score a single try down our edge so suck it!)

I 'double' sidestepped some other guy, left him clutching at air in another game and all his team mates laughed at him for getting done by an ...well lets say an 'old coot'.

I gave up and moved to Canada.

I remember that as well. Poor ole Uncle Doug. Regarding TV, I also remember not understanding (as a kid) why the Christmas episodes always came out in june/july. Simply because the networks were 6 months behind in the American programing.
