In an attacking sense it's probably not a bad idea.
But defensively.....NO, just NO! Dylan loves to be the first line of defence, not the last. IMO it's why he has worked better at 5/8th than at centre.

Sounds like Des is unsure about Walker. Left centre, right centre, 5/8 Fullback. Des is as unsure as the rest of us with walker. He should be playing centre but too much of a liablity in defence this year with our rushing style. Fullback? Well yeah makes sense and bring in a proper 5/8 . I quite like it, we need to find a spark on attack without Turbo.

Also if true watch for Elliott to come on and replace suli if he's caught out in defence again. Both parker and suli could cover backrow if needed.

Since Walker started his NRL career with souths I have seen him play centre , Fullback and 5/8
At his best he has played his best footy at centre winning best centre of the year with his explosive running game out wide

I think Des will make the least number of changes and move Elliot to fullback , keep walker at 6 as he is the best option we have available and also keep belief in the his centres Parker and Suli who have done the job before

I like the idea of walker attacking at fullback. Probly the only guy that could be as dynamic as turbo back there. If 4th is outa reach after the rabbits game give dce and jake a rest .

Can't see it happening mate . Elliot is not an impact player for start, so I'll back him in to starting fullback. Walker to stay at 6 .

Sorry but I wouldn't be messing around with the makeup of the side (Edit: especially a week or so out from the Finals when we still have a game to play to determine if we get a home Final or not). Leave everyone where they normally play and bring Elliot in at fullback where he has played well this year.

We get a home final regardless. Unless bunnies get smashed by Roosters then this game serves no meaning for us or the eels. Could use it to experiment a few things with no pressure on the outcome

This has been discussed by plenty as an option and I will agree with 1 important aspect that FB would give Walker...more action supporting the ball carrier as he can hit a hole well and has good timing...though I can't see it happening and see Elliott holding the spot, but Walker definitely needs to be sniffing around the ball in support far more...this could add some much needed attack, particularly with TT out.

I get what you're saying....but no. Besides, at the start of the year I made a $20 bet with a Worms supporting mate of mine as to which team would finish higher on the ladder. I have money riding on us finishing 5th and them finishing 6th

I just don't understand why you would change something that worked when Turbo was out last time. Elliot is used to playing FB and is reliable/safe and while he doesn't provide the dynamic opportunities Turbo generates, it's a comforting move.

Apart from DCE and Dylan our backs are somewhat 'Ho hum' as turbo always added the 'X' factor but in defence, aside from last weekend, they are damn good. We need to take them on in the forwards, win the ruck and if successful, we'll win the game.If not, we'll be wiped severely.

Elliot has trained at fullback all pre-season and was also training there during the season when he wasn’t playing in first grade. Brett Stewart has been helping him out so I think we should definitely stick to playing Elliot at fullback
