We needed that win as much as you did so we can prove that we are serious title contenders
Last week our opponent did not offer any challenge
This week the Warriors did and they dominated us

Nothing has changed for several years, we preform against the top teams and get embarrassed by the bottom teams. Last season we should have made the top 4 if it wasn't for us getting beat in the games we were expected to win by a big margin.

I told my son before kick off we won't be getting the two points tonight.
I'm tipping us to follow the script the next few weeks and beat Canberra, get embarrassed by Parramatta and than beat Melbourne.

DCE should be ok, he was walking off ok with a smile on his face, just a precaution I'd say.

It looked like a grimace, rather than a smile. However, I think he probably strained a back muscle, which is painful but a bit of rest, tens machine and a decent massage should get him back on his feet quickly.

Apparently Manly told the sideline media that he was OK but he stayed in the sheds?! Sounds like ducks and drakes to me. My guess is tightness in the hammy, given Fox were unable to show a replay of any injury.

Saw him clutch his hammy in the first half. He did very little after that. I lost a bet with a mate. He said Turbo lasts 2 games, I said 5 games. Carton of beer his way.

The commentating is getting so pathetic. Everything is a hyperbole. Every week they basically bash the team that loses and blow smoke up the team that wins. What they fail to understand is that every week, 8 teams win and 8 teams lose. Basically, we’ve got 8 premiership favourites and 8 pathetic wooden spooners and it can change on a dime 😂

There was a few defining plays that summed up tonight for me. I'm sure everyone has their opinions on this.

Right in half time, Saab in space down the right. Only the fullback to beat....chip and bloody chase! Nobody will beat you to the ball. Instead he stops running.

Momentum is starting to swing our way after we score first in the second half. Ola throws a hospital pass to Reuben on half way. Warriors get all the momentum back

Down by 8. Saab easy intercept chance, shut the gate, would only be down by two....he drops it cold.

Ok, there was plenty of crap moments, but those moments summed up a game that we should have won easily. We also should have led 18 except for some poor execution.

Too slow around the ruck, Egan tore us to shreds. We miss the other Tommy T as well in the centres, Clayton struggled tonight.

We need a proper rebuild. Nothing will change until the core does. Love dce, tom and Jake but its time to look to the future. DCE is getting on, Tom is a walking injury, and Jake is a 6 again magnet and getting ordinary. We play footy the way we do coz our leadership/spine players call the shots. We will continue with the touch footy mentality. And im not saying to let them all walk but I think 2 should possibly near retirement and one needs a massive paycut to only play 10 games a year

When he is on fire is the best there is but i agree too far between those performances. Getting older means it will get worse not better so the club might need to make a tough decision for the fans but the right one for the team.
