Happen right in front of manly supporters.

I will admit after watching all the bad performances that made up for it.

And I will admit I did shed a few tears after that.

I don't care how ugly we won, warriors had all the the running and that strong southerly, we had not right to win that.

That was worth the travel.

I wasted 2 hours of my life watching a reserve grade team play with pride, lead by international halves playing in the same old manner from the distant past.

Some nice efforts in patches from the forwards, Schuster toughing it out also is nice to see.

Well, you gave some at least. Its a start lol

It was great to see the players reaction to the field goal, showed it meant something. Question is can they back it up now the proverbial monkey is off their backs?

A win is a win and if we had lost that the boys would have been absolutely gutted.

The forwards were fantastic tonight, all ran with purpose and the backs tried hard too.

Loads of work to do but better with a W on the weekend than another loss. Hopefully with Tom and Cust back in we might jag another win in the next couple of weeks.

Its not like we are all on here celebrating like we are suddenly top 4 material , we aren’t.

2021 is about avoiding the spoon.

And tonight was a start !!

Too often focused on not winning the spoon this past half decade or so and way too early in the season, that i no longer celebrate this milestone.

Schuster was getting in the way - he wanted his mitts on that second kick as well! He is a talented kid but yes leave those to DCE.

It would have been cool if Schuster had slotted his FG attempt. You have to admire the kids confidence getting in there and having a crack.

Funnily enough, both are true. Cudos for him to have the confidence to take that shot, but in this team he should leave the FG's to the NRL's Field Goal King, and that happens to be DCE.

I can only assume it was a planned play as they would have been expecting DCE to get it hence the surprise option to catch them out. I can't believe Croker would let Shoe overcall DCE on a play like that. DCE's was a sh!t kick, bloody happy it wobbled it's way over though

That was not just a win . That was an amazing resilient win considering more players we lost during the game
