NRL Casualty Ward: Gagai ruled out; Wests Tigers lose Tupou

The Knights have lost veteran centre Dane Gagai to a calf injury, while Wests Tigers winger Junior Tupou picked up a foot injury in Round 7.

Manly will be without forward Nathan Brown for their clash with the Warriors on Saturday with the 31-year-old succumbing to a knee injury he suffered in last week's win over Penrith.

Back to reality check today. Our questionable defense will be fully tested by probably the best attack in the competition at the moment. Can see plenty of points leaking out wide unless we shut down Johnson, Egan , RTS , DWZ , CNK. No enforcer Brown will hurt big time. Wahs by 18.

I was feeling confident until I saw that ‘Mad Nate’ Brown was out and ‘Mentor Aaron’ Woods was in. Not helped by the continual overlooking of ‘Slammin’ Brad’ Parker in favour of ‘Shaky Tommy’ Talau.

Oh well, we will see what happens.

Yeah, agree on Parker, he's good defensively and runs kamikaze straight lines into the defense. Talau just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.

Seibold has a huge opportunity here to really silence the doubters (none bigger than myself), and show that we have actually improved as a footy club. Down on troops, a little media distraction through the week, coming off a massive upset win the week before, and travelling overseas to play a very talented and in-form, almost full strength Warriors. What an opportunity
