Im not surprised we are chasing him as we attempted at going after him when he left the roosters. He would be good... but at the right price around 200 - 250k would not be too bad.

We keep bloody resigning players at their peak i.e Choc on 350k+ per season last year. Or maybe its more that players step up when they are playing for a contract?

ha maybe put everyone on a 1 year contract

Noticed he seemed to fire up last night. Must have realised his 1 year deal is coming to an end. I have no doubt he is still capable of producing one or two decent games per season. Or at least one.

I think you might be confusing him with Bryant. Bell used to go sideways.

Half of the clubs' board represent the Penns, funny how you seem to always be pointing to one bloke. Surely when he was hired both camps agreed on his appointment otherwise they'd still be doing a hatchet job on each other like last year.

Mason has been out of the spotlight because I figure out of sight, out of mind up there in Townsville. Plus there is 3/10 of Sweet FA to do in Townsville anyway.

Mason has been playing alright footy for the last month or so, but probably more to do with trying to pump up his value for his next contract than anything else. If you could be sure he could keep his head pulled in and wasn't going to be a destabilising influence then he would be a worthwhile signing at the right coin, but given his track record it's a big gamble.

Wouldn't have Mason in the frontrow put him in the second row where he run's a little wider and would kill it. That's where he play's his best footy.
