Yeah our sides not really progressed that i can see from last year.
Getting on a role with alot of offloads simply wont work every week, we dont play mature footy nor patient.
The good sides build pressure and dont rely on off loads to set up play.
* Dce never gonna be a top level 7 yeah good but never the best
* uate imo has had worring form slump. His invovlement of kick returns minor.

Hastings coming on to replace Api who then played in the halves worked well last week. I would like to see more of this moving forward. Having three players rotate through the six will give us a little bit of unpredicatability in attack. it would be something we need to commit to over the season. at times we may need to accept the occasional loss because of it.

I seriously hope Croker is back to Blacktown this week. He's starting to actually make me appreciate the skill and ability of Jye Mullane back in the day. Wasn't he an International Junior as well?

The difference between this year and last year, is we have an 'easy' draw to start the year before a run home against the top sides. The perfect draw to prepare for finals football. Needed a good start to the year and it didn't happen.
Normally I would blow up a bit but I think the real truth is I'm am starting to accept mediocrity with this club , sad but true

It seems that at the moment Hastings would be doing a better job than his counterparts in the 6 and 9 positions. He should be number 69.

As it turns out we probably couldn't have matched the coin Green was being offered at the warriors given the salary cap investigations. Maybe force him to stay and the place would have been toxic this year? Who knows

I don’t have a problem with a spine of Hastings, Api, DCE and Turbo. Api and Hastings can swap places, iirc Api played well in the halves after the Walker experiment so no issue giving him a go at 6

Been saying all year this team is mediocre. The last 3 weeks have pretty much confirmed it.
Week 1- went OK... Issues to address but OK performance.
Week 2- brilliant.
Week 3. Opposite of brilliant.. Absolutely abysmal.

Result... Mediocre team.

10th-7th for mine... Not a top 4 team and were never going to be looking at their growth from last year
