Is there a chance they maybe a bit lenient on the players with suspensions with semis around the corner.

the nrl probably just scored an extra 50000 bums on seats and 250000plus tv audience for finals so there should be a bonus for the players!!!!

I'd say several of our players will get a week so Lockyer can have his fairytale.

Loved the way Glenn looked back as if to say are you serious, and then, turned around and smacked him as if he didn't care.

Definitely deserved it no matter what he said, shouldn't have run up and said anything.

Blair might have just lost his tough boy image.

If what i've heard is true in what he said - he deserved everything he got from the Stewart clang

What the f**k would you know?

I know that if you want to talk **** to the Stewart's be prepared to accept the consequences.

I think we need a banner that says

"That's what happens"!

I would have asked Blair what it felt like to lose a grand final to the tune of 40-0. Adam you will always be Manly's bitch.

THis is the way I see it in GS's defence: Let's take it that something incredibly offensive was said to him to get him to react in such a way. To my liking it should be compared to a racial slur - if what was rumoured to have been said was said. GS would have to voice what was said publicly to defend why he 'got stuck back in'. Mind you, I'm sure many other offensive things are said in the heat of battle out of ear-shot of everyone. But the racial slur argument, now used as a degrading brotherly slur that has caused much family pain, may have a case. I'm hoping the slur is revealed and made the issue and not the fight.

Hit me Baby One More Time :D

Seriously though, with all the bloody Officials, how could two incensed Players not be escorted back to the sheds?

Blair has effectivly 'Run In ' to join GS and after a previous fight that has to viewed as instigating it.

Glen was way ahead of Blair on his way off the field. Blair runs to catch up with him and mouth off. If he does'nt do this there is no second incident. Blair is the instigator and to blame for what follows, no doubt.

Doesn't work like that....Glen threw the first punch.

Normally I'd reckon one week, the Goose will be involved and I'd guess it could be 4 weeks for both....end of the season effectivly for both.

Don't be surprised to see a $100,000 "bringing the game into disrepute" fine for both clubs as well.

And Melbourne could even lose points for having an extra player on the field after a bench player entered the melee

Pleased I am not part of the judicial system

Just been having another look at it

Just before being marched, Glenn looks at Blair and over the refs mic you can hear him say "he didn't ??? anyone", think the missi g word may be get

What was it in relation too ? My guess would be Blair saying something about Brett running in an swinging but it could go a bit deeper than that

The problem for Glenn is despite what Blair said to him, he looks over at the referees to see if they were looking before he threw the punch. It will be construed as premeditated I fear.
