Perth sees this team alive for as long as NRL is. Sadly what AFL is doing compared to our leaderships ineptitude will see the game dwindle. We don't need to pander to the pussy soccer mums and dads. We need to celebrate the brutality and make sure kids know if you play this game you get tough credits at school. MMA is thriving. RL NEEDS to embrace its brutal nature. But it needs leaders who aren't the definition of Wusses.

Hands up anyone on here who would be threatened if Greenberg or Beatie wanted to throw down. These guys are paid a million a year to do nada.

Perth or the CC is the only real option, if we were ever in a position where we absolutely had to move.

The existing tiny local Perth Pirates base would hate us, of course, but the NRL would love us (see Melbourne), the next generation of Perth kids would love us, etc, etc.

There is a lot of upside to this, in the unlikely event it ever happens.

I also would absolutely love the irony of MANLY sea eagles owning the C.Coast.

Of course nobody wants to move. It's a hypothetical poll. And it's certainly not the first one I've seen on Silvertails.
But with private ownership it is more than a possibility. The NRL would then fund a new team somewhere and we'd be powerless to stop it.
Stick your head in the Brookvale turf and live on past glories if you want. This club is in a mess. Things have to change. Having a plan for our on-going survival is sensible. Every sizeable company and corporation is constantly updating and re-thinking their strategy. Changing a coach is only one aspect of the answer.
