Who abducted the team from the 1st half ??

Well what a great 1st half....winning collissions, running with aggression and support, solid kick/chase game.
Then we go to the sheds where the aliens ship was awaiting
The players though looking similar, have been cloned by a rabble and the players are off to the pub.
That 2nd half lacked venom, any line speed, couldn't lock up the footy in defence, desperation was poor and the rest is history.
It was pretty sickening hearing the Knights love fest from Voss, but in reality, Manly made them look pretty damn good.
Every time they went wide looked likely and the desperation even after hitting the lead was very poor.
No big suprise after a great Win last weekend, that this was the "Off week".
Anyway just want to make sure the players from the 1st half can make it to the game next week if possible and the blokes in that 2nd half can be taken back to planet Zog....please pick another team to abduct next time dear alien friends...

I think what happened is that the other team started to actually try to play. We played the 2nd half expecting to win without making any additional effort.

No one did. The Knights were passive and somehow decided to turn up the heat in the 2nd half which we had no answer for.

The head bin abducted Lehi and Talau, and we were left with backrowers in the centres. Sometimes it's as simple as that. Funnily enough, this is exactly what caused us to roll through the Knights last year.

AOB clearly told them to attack Burbo for that second half, and that worked. It was as simple as that. The cover defence gassed the middles and the holes opened up elsewhere. DCE had some abysmal management too.

Usually I can cop it, but this was next level....even when Manly done something half decent he was making up crap about some forward pass, lucky penalty..anything...so when they did get on top which even us Silvertails will confess due to a terrible 2nd half, he just death rode all he way off the cliff...but damn Manly made it an easy ride that 2nd half...

Its the lack of composure of our two leaders. One with his won't change stuffing around all and nothing crap when your on top in the first. Game manage that first half its 30 nil at half time.

Just as brain dead, and just as uncomposed the always good for the dumbest of ruck infringements, and ranting and raving Jurbo.

There has been DIfferent coaches, different experience around them, But as long as this team, has the same two uncomposed frantic leaders out on the field it will be the same **** performances

What happened. Our headless coach was able to talk to the players at half time. That's what screwed us.

All game we put up deep, mindless predominantly uncontested bombs ( just like the Parra game) yet last week carved up the Broncos with short grubbers behind the line.

I thought first half we were good but not good enough. We should have done enough to be out of sight and not give Newcastle any hope at half time. Poor game management cost us again

I was not impressed by our first half - we should have been up ty 20 to 30 considering how bad the Knights were. And DCE kicking on the third for a trick shot when we should have been bashing over the line again was abominable
