For me it was Wormald.

As a kid I thought that the old Wormald building on the hill (now a fitness first) was where the players would hang out.

For me it's been Kaspersky, looked good on the jerseys, URM a close second, although I haven't been alive during the time of pepsi, pioneer & wormald. URM looks great on the jersey, worst is most certainly the green blob known as coco joy

To think the club copped a fair bit of flack for the Pepsi jersey that has now become iconic.

When did we start having Jersey sponsors , I'd say about 82/83 but cant remember.

For me possibly the Pepsi one, I've got a couple of those one purchased I think at the 87 GF.

Pioneer for me. Great jersey and also fond personal nostalgia. My family had the full pioneer stereo rack in the 70s, very similar to this picture.

I still have the amp and the smaller reel to reel.

Not sure where all the Pepsi jumper love has come from recently.
They were a great prestige sponsor but the jumper, especially the white top one, wasn't crash hot. All those red & blue stripes and the asymmetrical arms. Not good at all.
At the time nobody liked them. Seems like some revisionist history re-writing going on here.

Pioneer and Kaspersky I'd say worked best into the jersey they went with.

Wouldn't have been '87? Pepsi was mid-90s - one of my favourites because it was the first jersey I ever bought brand new, with my own money (I was 16). The Wormald jersey is another favourite, it was the first jersey I ever owned (hand me down from my brother) - I had the white one as a little kid, have the maroon retro version now.

But...I actually really like the 72/73 retro one with no sponsors, and the next one I've got my eye on is the 1957 retro, in 'proper' fabric with no sponsors!
