Why Manly will win the comp in 2018

So you are suggesting we may lose a GF to the Eels? Please keep your negativity to yourself.
Lol I am suggesting that my prediction is that the Eels will end up with good luck in various areas and the NRL will be thrilled to see them prosper ...and historically their most famous rivalry is with Manly ...so I don't think the NRL would be too disappointed to see such a Sydney-centric outcome. (Not that the preferences of the NRL actually ever affect the comp, of course, but just saying.)

SER8 I think your positive view is Great !!!
A positive feathered friend like you .....

Feels the Intangible
and achieves the Impossible .
Nothing is possible without positive thinking .
Having said that we also have to be realistic as well if we are to have realistic expectations and any team with the likes of the Turbo's the Kappows , the Walkers, the DCE's along with the exciting new signing additions and the young prospects knocking on our NRL team door we have lots to be positive for .
As for your Eels Grand final v Manly Prediction . How sweet would a grand final knock out punch would that be !!!

Probably looking ahead to or to evaluate Manly"s prospects for next season would have to include the anticipated playing strengths of the 15 opposition teams . There really does not seem at this stage to be much or significant player movement between the other clubs . No doubt Maclean will strengthen the Ccwboys pack but club transfers such as Dugan , Bird , Blair and even Gagai and Moga for instance may only have minimal effect on their new club's over all team rating and Cronk "s absence must surely affect the Storm"s prospects . If seems likely that Manly will have essentially the similar playing personal for next season with at least maybe one more proven forward performer , so to enable Manly to be serious contenders, there is obviously then going to have to be some required and general improvement from certain existing or younger prospective players . That is also providing the established and higher profile guys can maintain their performance level . Maintaining a healthy playing roster will always still be the determining factor but after this year"s improvement for the Sea Eagles , why should " t there be some reasonable amount of optimism and hope for season 2018.

I agree with Manly Al that there has been little player movement so far and if it continues in such manner, I suspect Manly will be moving up the ranks next season. The main reason is that Manly had one of the youngest group of players in '17 and they will be just that year more experienced. Add to that a couple of good forward signings and the rising junior stars, and it suggests Manly should make the final four. How they go from there is a lottery

Haha sure........................and then there are those who are not even worthy of a personal attack.

Am I worthy NL?. It would be hard enough copping a personal attack, but to not even be worthy of such is just too much to contemplate.

Not with Matt Wright and Kelly we won't. Top 8 sure
01. Tom Trbojevic
02. Jorge Taufua
03. Brian Kelly
04. Dylan Walker
05. Akuila Uate
06. Blake Green
07. Daly Cherry-Evans

+ Matt Wright may not be the ultimate starter every week, but he's most certainly above average when it comes to depth replacement, and will be fighting it out with Parker if and when an injury hits us.

+ Also, people forget what Kelly's play was like when Taufua was healthy. The League world including us was absolutely blown away. Taufua's qualities did the kid wonders.

Hopefully we land Thompson. Statistically, he was one of the best backrowers in the league last season, and add him to Sironen and Jake, and jeez that backrow is looking good.
