Why Manly?

As I've watched a whole bunch of up and comers sign for other clubs this season and now with our great white hope Gillett seemingly extending with Brisbane, I wondered what on earth would be appealing for a player to come to Manly.

I'm at a bit of a loss. The traditional reasons:

A winning culture
A coach who could further a career
A fortress for a home ground
The chance to play with X player
A great fitness regime
Good facilities
A chance to be a part of an exciting young team
The beaches lifestyle
Money
We're not Newcastle

Apart from the last three, I'm at a bit of a loss.
