So if DCE goes at the end of 2025 what are our current options? I am amazed people will so easily pass on the idea of a half who is coming into his prime coming to the club (to be clear I do not think he will come here)

I think DCE will resign for 2026, and beyond that I'd imagine:

7. Walsh / Alexander

2028:
6. Turbo
7. Walsh / Alexander

If DCE resigns I'd imagine Jake Arthur would leave for Newcastle. He's probably the first option otherwise.

I get it but if we were in a position to get a proven state of o player.....why would you not? Much stronger than those outlined although I do take the point about being cap heavy / not future focused

I would take Moses with the opportunity, but how often is Hooper right? He tried to claim Gutho might want out too. Earlier this year he said DCE might want to leave after the end of his contract. He said Holmes was going to stay at the Cowboys and the next day he signed with the Dragons. He just makes stuff up. He's not a journalist, he's a sensationalist.

Heard some rumours he isn't allowed at dog parks anymore too...
